Springbank’s Middle School provides a safe, secure and enriching environment for Year 7, 8 and 9 students.
A Relevant and Rigorous Curriculum
Students at Year 7, 8 and 9 experience a range of set subjects so that they are able to make meaningful subject choices in future years.
At Springbank we have strategies and structures to identify and meet the diverse learning needs of students. These strategies include:
- Individualised programs for students via student and teacher negotiation
- Assessment and monitoring of students against the set standards and criteria
- Pathways to Success, a specific health, wellbeing and social skills program.
At year 7 the students will have the opportunity to:
- Become involved in student leadership through the Student Representative Council
At year 8 the students will have the opportunity to:
- Specialise in an area of the Arts
- Become involved in student leadership through the Student Representative Council
At year 9 the students will have the opportunity to:
- Choose 4 elective subjects to explore that support their interests and pathways
- Become involved in student leadership through the Student Representative Council
