Springbank Secondary College is a new entity that has emerged from the strong foundations and histories of Daws Road High School and Pasadena High School following a significant renewal and redesign process.

💛 R U OK?Day – Thursday 10 September 💛
This Thursday, Springbank Secondary College will recognise R U OK?Day, a national day of action that reminds us of the importance of staying connected and checking in with the people around us.
This year's message is “Ask R U OK? Any Day”. A simple conversation can make a real difference, and we want to encourage our students to notice when someone might be struggling, reach out and know where to go for support.

To recognise the day, the Wellbeing Team has organised:
💛 Wear Yellow Day – students and staff are encouraged to add a splash of yellow to their outfit.
🥞 Pancakes at lunchtime – come along, grab a pancake and spend some time connecting with others.
💬 Start a conversation – throughout the day, we encourage everyone to check in with a friend, classmate or colleague and ask, “Are you OK?”

Most importantly, R U OK?Day isn't about asking the question just once a year. It is about building a school community where we look out for one another, stay connected and feel comfortable reaching out when someone may need support.

If someone is on your mind, trust your instinct and ask R U OK? You dont have to wait until R U OK day, you can ask Any Day! 💛
