Springbank Secondary College is by design, a small and inclusive school. Our size allows us to truly know our students’ interests, strengths and barriers so we can tailor a learning environment that is personal, supportive, and ambitious.
Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. For us, inclusion means recognising and addressing all kinds of barriers to learning and social connection. Our classrooms are diverse and dynamic, and every student is supported to feel safe, valued, and part of a connected community. We know that wellbeing is essential for learning. We invest in a dedicated Wellbeing Team and a whole-school pastoral care program, Pathways to Success to ensure every student is ready to engage and thrive in their learning.

Through differentiated practice and planned personalised learning, every student is supported to achieve their best. High expectations and capacity-building generate improved student performance and independent learners who take responsibility for their learning.

We believe that when learning is equitable and appropriately challenging, supported by a strong sense of belonging, both students and staff are empowered to be brave—to step out of their comfort zones to grow and achieve in ways they never imagined. Our goal is to help students move from their comfort zone into the learning zone—where they can experience the joy and motivation that comes from real success.
Our motto, Your Path, Our Community, reflects our commitment to helping every student find and follow their own pathway. Whether that path leads to university, further education, employment, supported work, or day options, we focus on SACE completion and celebrate all forms of success.
