The Senior School supports successful achievement of SACE and preparation for life beyond school. Structures are in place to encourage students to realise their potential and to support positive and personal development.
At year 10 the students will have the opportunity to
• Plan their pathway through the Senior School – Year 10 students will undertake the SACE Stage 1 subject ‘Personal Learning Plan’ which will contribute to this process
• Engage with the Australian Curriculum
• Consider vocational pathways of interest
• Embark upon Work Experience
• Become involved in student leadership through the Student Representative Council
At year 11 (Stage 1) the student will have the opportunity to:
• Study SACE Stage 1 courses
• Train in a wide range of vocational pathways
• Become involved in student leadership through the Inner South Curriculum Alliance
• Have access to a supervised and supported study program.
At year 12 (Stage 2) the student will have the opportunity to:
• Complete the SACE
• Qualify for entry to University or TAFE
• Become involved in student leadership through the Student Representative Council and school committees
• Select from a wide range of vocational training pathways through the Inner South Curriculum Alliance
• Have access to a supervised and supported study program
